Woollams almshouses comprises 10 one-bedroom ground floor properties and a first floor flat, used by the warden who lives on site. The bungalows sit in well kept gardens on a quiet site overlooking Redbourn Common on the corner of Flamsteadbury Lane.
The original four almshouses are characterful with fine views of the Common, whilst the remaining six more modern bungalows have internal views of the pretty garden. Each property has a small private garden and outside seating area, making for a convivial community atmosphere.
The summerhouse provides a communal meeting space all year round and is used for regular coffee mornings, occasional evening events and a monthly communion service.
