We are delighted with the new chairs in the summerhouse, funded largely by a generous grant from Redbourn Parish Council and supplemented by fundraising efforts of the warden and residents. They brighten up the summerhouse and are so comfortable.
Reverend Will Gibbs has moved on from Redbourn after 16 years of service to the church, parish and village.
We wish him well in his new post at St. Albans Abbey as Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care. The Reverend Rachael Wakefield has been appointed as the next Vicar of St. Mary's Church, starting in September 2023, and will be invited to join the management committee of The Redbourn Charities and Woollams.

Pathway Project
A major project to relay the extensive network of paths through the grounds began in 2019. The work was severely hampered by an unusually wet autumn and winter, causing the lawns to become a muddy mess. In Spring 2020, work resumed and the paths were completed and slowly the damaged lawns began to recover. By 2022, when Woollams gardens were open to the public as part of Redbourn Open Gardens, the transformation was complete.
